Wow, what a whirlwind this week has been! š Between freezing temps and nonstop events, Iāve barely had time to catch my breath. Letās hope the cold weather is finally behind us, because Iām ready for sunshine and warmer days! āļø
The highlight of my week was definitely yesterdayās Wills Point Community Market. Most of the week was spent planning and promoting the event. I attended the Forney Area Networking Group on Tuesday and Terrell Chamber Morning Mingle on Wednesday to spread the word. And Wednesday night? What a treatāI was a guest on KFCE 95.5 radio! šļø That interview was so much fun, and the cherry on top? It landed us a gold sponsorship for the market! How amazing is that?!
As for the market itself, I couldnāt be more thrilled with how it turned out! š We had a fantastic turnout, and Iāve already received positive feedback from attendees and vendors. The space was a little tight, which is something Iāll improve on next time, but Iām so proud of how far this event has come. It even grew bigger than I expected! Now, itās full steam ahead for the next market on February 15thāthereās no time to slow down! š
Today, I tackled a personal project thatās been on my 2024 to-do listāclearing out my storage unit. Huge shoutout to the friends and acquaintances who helped me move everything to my garage (which is now officially packed to the brim). Iāll save $300 a month by closing that unit, so itās a big win! š Just need to scrap two embroidery machines and Iāll officially be done.
Looking ahead, next week isnāt slowing down. The E! Terrell show is Thursday, rescheduled from earlier this month, and Saturday brings a Tea Tasting with Harlequin Tea at Whisked Away Bakehouse in Terrell. Plus, the February 15th market is right around the cornerāno rest for the ambitious, right? But honestly, I love this pace. It keeps me inspired and motivated. šŖ
Thanks for following along on this crazy journey. Letās keep making big things happen! š
