Yesterday was a day to remember! Harlequin Tea teamed up with Whisked Away Bakehouse in Terrell for a Tea Tasting & Cookie Pairing—and it was an absolute hit! We brought all our delicious tea blends and plenty of hot water, while Kristy baked up some mouthwatering cookies to pair perfectly with each sip.
I had never done an event like this before, so I had no idea what to expect. Would people show up? Would they be interested in tasting different teas? But one smart move we made was creating separate events on social media for both businesses. This way, we reached both of our audiences—and it worked! Before the event, a few people even reached out to me with questions, which was a great sign.
And wow, the turnout blew me away! I made over 40 cups of tea and had an incredible day of sales—far beyond my expectations! Seeing people enjoy my blends, experiment with flavors, and find new favorites was so rewarding.
A huge thank you to Kristy for hosting me—I hope your sales were just as amazing as mine! This event reminded me how powerful collaboration can be. Bringing together two small businesses not only supports each other but also creates a fantastic experience for the community.
